September 1, 2010 - Chicago Mandarin Chinese Center announces today the open enrollment of a new 9-Week Beginner-Level II Mandarin Chinese Class which is scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 11, 2010, 6:00pm, at our downtown building located at 17 N State Street, Suite 820, Chicago, IL 60602.
About the Class
Beginner-Level II Class is a featured program specially designed for those who have had a certain foundation in Mandarin Chinese and wish to further upgrade their communication skills. This 9-Week Beginner-Level II Class helps participants to expand the needed skills and knowledge in speaking, reading, and listening comprehension.
Who Should Attend?
Those who have completed Beginner-Level I studies at our Center or those who have learned the language previously for 1~2 semesters from other sources.
What is the Program Focus?
Speaking, reading and listening comprehension (90%); Character writing (5%); Chinese Culture and Business Etiquette (5%).
How is the Class Taught?
- New words and phrase interpretation;
- Sentence analysis;
- Substitution drill;
- Situation role-play dialogues;
- Improvised communications using the new words learned
- Listening comprehension and,
- Development exercises

The classes are offered every Saturday from 1:30pm-3:00pm starting from Saturday, September 11, 2010 (For any schedule change or adjustment, all participants will be notified in advance)
